Fluid Check and Windshield Wiper Blade Replacements
Your Honda model employs the use of several fluids, some of which are oriented around keeping your engine at a consistent temperature. For instance, coolant fluid prevents it from becoming too hot or cold, allowing it to function in the summer and winter alike. This is generally replaced once every 30,000 miles, or two years, but it’s best to have it checked at the start of the season. The winter may have also weakened your oil by causing it to congeal, so don’t forget about this as well. Your windshield wipers will also soon be put to significant use to deal with the oncoming rain, so you will want to have these swapped out as well.
Tire Maintenance
Since they act as your direct connection with the road along Route 101, it’s important that you do not forsake the condition of your tires. It’s possible that they may have worn unevenly in previous months due to the front set carrying the weight of the engine. Because of this, we strongly recommend that you schedule a service appointment for a tire check and rotation. Our team will remove each one to more closely inspect its individual treads to see if this is required. While Goleta weather doesn’t typically necessitate it, if you had swapped to winter previously, now would be the time to switch over to summer variants.
Cabin Air Filter Service
Due to the local Mediterranean climate, pollen is in abundance. For that reason, making sure that your cabin air filter is ready to handle this is of paramount importance. You can visit our nearby location to have our team verify this through an inspection. If they determine it must be replaced, you will be presented with a number of options. You can select a standard particulate filter, which simply keeps out airborne contaminants. If you would like to avoid foul smells as well, consider the carbon-activated variant for your Accord, HR-V, or CR-V. There’s even an antimicrobial filter to help avoid bacterial buildup.
